Process

Process is crucial when investing in the markets. I think writing them down will help me and keep me accountable. If/when I learn more and make improvements I will update.

  1. At the beginning of each week I will have:
    1. a ‘watch’ list of ~200 stocks
    2. a ‘ready’ list of ~50 stocks
    3. an ‘action’ list of 0-10 stocks, with an entry plan for each
  2. At the close of each market day I will:
    1. move all ‘action’ stocks to the ‘ready’ list
    2. remove any broken stocks from the ‘ready’ list
    3. add any strong stocks from the ‘watch’ list to the ‘ready’ list
    4. scan the new ‘ready’ stocks, move the best 0-10 to the ‘action’ list and create an entry plan for each
  3. Each weekend I will:
    1. move all lists to ‘watch’
    2. go through all my scans and add attractive stocks to the ‘watch’ list
    3. scan Stocktwits and Twitter (proven follows) for ideas and add to ‘watch’ list
    4. start my weekly process again (get ‘watch’ down to ~200, scan those for best 50, scan those for anything actionable)
  4. Repeat
